In some religions you get in your next life what you do in this life..
The lady with plastic legs walking by our restaurant clearly had bad Karma to have lost her legs in this life(according to some belief systems)..even more so when the car unfortunately hit her and sent her rattling across the road..luckily her two plastic legs held on and after 10 minutes on the floor adjusting her prosthetics she was away..she must of been a bad bastard in her previous life..
Its strange as there are over 11million people in Hanoi flying around like lunatics and after 7 days this was the first accident we saw..
On our return from the stunning Halong Bay our bus had a flat battery, luckily 12 Vietnamese and myself managed to push start the bus …the problem then was the Aircon didn’t work so we had to have all the windows open just so we could breath ,the trade off then was we where on one of the noisiest / dustiest roads here ….luckily it was only a 4 hour journey. beep fxxking beep.
We avoided eating dog ( to the best of our knowledge ) and thoroughly enjoyed this amazing and diverse city.
I was here 6 years ago and its amazing the change..hotels and bars are up over 1000% and the place is one of the most vibrant you will ever see..it has it all.

Once again thanks Vietnam for a truly magical time..

This set of images is of my home town  Hull ..Been here several months now so obviously got a few images to share of my up and coming City. All my latest images are available here!

In just over a week I get to hit the road again for 7 Months.

As usual I will be based in Thailand on the  small island Koh Chang , some of the best skys I have ever seen there plus its a great gateway to other smaller islands.

I will have to leave Thailand occasionally for Visa reasons and Vietnam will be the first of my Visa runs .

I love Vietnam and Saigon has some of the most amazing street life you will ever see.

It  should be pretty diverse again with a little Bangkok in there and maybe a bit of Burma

Christmas will be had on Koh Samui Island ..My second home I guess, its always fantastic to get back onto that Rock and catch up with familiar faces.

A Great place for Photography also  as it has  an amazing Jungle in the centre with dozens of roads into the mountains  and beaches to die for scattered around the 52 KM circumference ..

Ghost Skyscraper Bangkok – Chrisbirds.com

Taksin bridge was the stop for the tower..
I took the trainGhost skyscraper Bangkok..

Little did I know as I took this shot there was a man hanging inside this haunted skyscraper…He was found a few days after I felt the urge to take this picture.

I have heard if you pay the security guards a few dollars they will let you in and explore the  49 floors…I will be inside soon …

Well I finally made it to India.

Its been hard work but so far so good.

I managed to scrape through Bangkok’s rush hour and squashed myself into the sky-train directly to the airport.

6 hours later I was in Mumbai.

The fun was then trying to find my hotel…its a pretty hectic city to say the least so I simply took a cab.

Well 6 actually …even though I had printed the hotels details in English and Hindi they couldnt find it.

After the 6th attempt I took to foot with my bags and camera gear not realising the extreme temperatures and humidity

The 2+ hours in the cabs nearly saw me off…there black in color and have no kind of  aircon…there simply ovens on wheels.

I didn’t realise how much fluid I had lost through the course finding my hotel and I was another hour + on foot .

When I finally got there I collapsed with heat extortion .

I awoke a few hours later in need of the toilet….yes I had picked up a bug already….

17 hours later I awoke again (luckily) and felt a little better but still very weak.

A fairly easy day was had (the main reason I couldnt  leave the toilet)

So day 3 I needed to book a train ticket to Delhi..Easy!

Theres 3 train stations in Mumbai…I went to all 3. …the internet is a wonderful tool but my hotel/Starbucks/McDonalds and every where else I went simply had no internet…so I was missing a major tool and after spending too much time with taxis etc I dropped the quest for WIFI.

When I got to the correct train station they informed me I had to buy my ticket from the other train station ?????obviously!!

So again 6 taxis later I was sorted.(I had to jump out of one Taxi literally…he was not good)

Its a 16 hour train journey to New Delhi and I was pretty unfortunate with the people in my room(or person), a Russian lady, french lady ,Nigerian man ,2 Indian men.

The Nigerian man gave of such a negative vibe it was unreal,I think the two lady’s where just about frozen,as was I to be fair.

He was huge about 55 years in age  and wore an old shiny suit with jet black sunglasses,he clearly disliked Indian people and was very loud/rude and ignorant,at one point one of the Indian men got the rail guard to take a look…it could of gone wrong really easy……16 hours….

The Indian man opposite me was wonderful,we couldn’t communicate verbally but he took care of me…

When my meal come with out a naan bread,I wasn’t going to make a scene as it was bad enough  in there…My Indian friend sorted it

…he knew i was missing my bread,lol…

What next!!!
